Attention all you Coral Reef Stars—think you’ve got talent?

Come out and audition to be in Coral Reef’s Annual Talent Show!

Try-outs on Monday, March 13th AND Tuesday, March 14th will begin at 2 PM for Pre-Kindergarten - 1st grade students and 3 PM for 2nd - 5th grade students. We will give every act a number when you arrive and check-in. Auditions will be held in Room 21 (Ms. Hernandez's Room next to the cafeteria). Auditions are only these two days!

Each act must be no longer than 3 minutes. Please advise your children that due to the time constraints of trying to accommodate all the auditions in a timely manner that they will be limited to approximately 1 minute per audition. If they are accepted into the show, they can add to their act so that it lasts no more than 3 minutes.

Students may only audition for one act

Each student performing must register individually

Practice! Be prepared to entertain!

Bring your own props/costumes/music or special equipment

Keyboard will be available for piano acts

If music is needed for their audition, please download the song being used, to their phone or iPad. Because of unreliable signals inside the classroom, it is preferred that music from YouTube videos are not used during the audition due to possible delays, if the music does not play in a timely manner. Use of CDs is also another option available.

Be sure that music selections are age appropriate subject matter with clean lyrics.

Due to the new security procedures, parents of Pre-K, Kindergarten and First grade students trying out for the talent show, will be allowed to access the campus beginning at 1:50 PM. Parents need to receive a pass from security if they choose to stay on campus and escort their children to the auditions in Mrs. Hernandez's room (Room 21). Parents of 2nd- 5th grade students will have access to the outside picnic tables beginning at 3 PM, which allows them to accompany their children prior to the auditions. Please note that the auditions are ‘closed’, and parents are asked to wait outside the class during the auditions.

Attention volunteers!!

Our much anticipated, Coral Reef Annual Talent Show will be held on April 26th and April 27th.

We are looking for volunteers to join our Talent Show Committee and help! This is an exciting and absolutely magical show. Every year, we are in awe of the talent displayed on stage by our children and our Talent Show Committee pulls out all the stops to make sure the kids have the best time performing!

Volunteering is flexible, and we appreciate all the help.

Come join the fun and be a part of this phenomenal event!

This year is particularly special because it is Liz's final hurrah as Talent Show Chair. Liz has been a huge part of the talent show for 12 years, and with her youngest graduating CRE, she and her family will be greatly missed. Liz is also looking to hand over the talent show torch. Working alongside Liz, as co-chairs, would make the transition easier as she preps for the 2023 CRE Talent Show.

Let's help Liz make this the best show yet!
